Re-post: I'm using personals %26amp; I'm noticing a odd trend. People write %26amp; call %26amp; everything is great. Some begin to throw around statements like: "I feel we have an amazing connection..." Then we meet %26amp; we have a seemingly great date. Then the next day I get a e-mail saying "I don't think we're a good fit" or some suggest we should go out again but then act disturbed if I call them a few days later. The details of my profile including my photos are VERY accurate so this is not a situation where i'm "found out" to be a fake. Its possible these persons expected me to be all over them %26amp; then ran when they saw I was not gonna sleep with them right off the bat. But I'm clear in my profile that I'm not that type. Or, maybe there is a "game" I'm not playing (Im supposed to act like I DONT like them)? This is really starting to mess w/my confidence %26amp; its making first-dates something I dread. Is this just happening to me or is this common in the world of online personals?

First of all, dont let anyone mess with your confidence. If you are confident in yourself, dont let them bother you. As for the online personals, I have used them a few times and have gotten to meet some strange people and some nice people, So keep trying as long as you feel like it. There are a lot of nice people you can meet.

Depending on what online dating site you are on, a lot of guys come on there just to find a one night stand. Trust me it happens with everyone! It shouldn't make you lack confidence at all because its not your fault. You may think it..and you are probably thinking, " Bad enough I have to use an online dating site but to have these guys just as bad as I am reject me also. What is wrong with me?" But its not and doesn't have anything to do with you! Even if the date went great guys are afraid of commiting, depending on what age, and when they meet someone that is confident, smart, and outgoing they are and can get a little intimidating.
Online dating can be or equal to the real life! Its good that you get dates to even start off with but thats why its call online dating! You aren't sure where it goes from there and a first date is normally as far as they go. You can't push something that won't and isn't suppose to happen! I mean on these sites there are millions and millions of girls and guys and I am sure everyone has their picks! The guys may have gone on more than one date before their date with you! So don't get upset of lose your confidence because the guys are jerks or that they don't react the way that you want them too. If the date goes well and there is a chance at a second date let them call you and not you call them. I mean you had of exchanged numbers for you to go on the first date!
If they say it just doesn't fit then let it go and find someone else to go on another date with. Sometimes its not what you find online but what finds you that works out! Good Luck! We both need it!

I would advise women not to use the chatting websites. These sites convert the women to cheap persons.
