I don't want to have to create a new Yahoo ID just for Yahoo Personals. I want to use my current Yahoo Messenger ID like I do for chatting. Help!!!?

I have recently joined yahoo personals and I am now allowed to im or email prospective dates. I have received "icebreakers" from females that I am interesting in dating,but I emailed them with my phone number and have not heard from them. How are they supposed to contact me they don't have my computer id email,or phone number. Yahoo does not allow you to use your email address in your emails to other prospective dates which I think is stupid. I think I just wasted $49.00 for 3 months for nothing. How should I contact woman and ask them on a date on yahoo personals if they don't repond even after they say they are interested in icebreakers. Is yahoo personals a scam? Do they pay woman to send icebreakers out just so you sign up ? How can I hook up on a date with a woman that I am interested in. Yeah ,I know how it works they have to be interested also,but some of them are..at least from what their icebreakers say.

I got on (free membership only) one night when I was drunk...I don't even remember doing it.

Anyway, my current girlfriend of 1 1/2 years found me on it and sent me an email. I wouldn't have been able to reply as I never paid for the full access account...but she was smart enough to include her email address in the body of the email so I could respond back.

Hang in there, I think there are a lot of nice people on personals. I didn't understand your question though, is it that terrible to send someone your email in your reply? As far as icebreakers from non subscribers. Forget people who don't subscribe. People who don't put out a few dollars can't be bothered with in my opinion.

I"m having an issue with receiving mail replies from within the Yahoo Personals site, in particular from US users.

I was always receiving a message to 'create my profile' while browsing, even though one was done already. I created one on the other side, so now both the US and Canada sites contained my profile.

I sent a mail message to a test account on the US side, and when trying to view it with the test account, my real profile was coming up as unavailable. After clicking that message, my profile was indeed there, but I'm not receiving replies from US users, and I am getting Canadian side replies.

Anyone else with a Canadian profile noticing this ?? I'm getting nothing from Yahoo Cust. Care. Thanks for any info!

Normally they will respond in 24-48 hours. Ask them to please cancel your matches.

I feel scammed or cheated by yahoo because i paid a lot of money for personals, built a relationship with people, and then the replies simply dissapear. this happened once before, and after refreshing a bunch of time, the missing reply showed up, thank god, because it was an important girl. yahoo personals is far too expensive to have such shoddy service. there should be a help desk on there, but i found none, and i have no one to appeal that my comments are gone. i also have proof in my yahoo mailbox that i was sent something by people, yet when i enter the personals, the notes are not updated. only old replies show themselves. this is a disaster, and i feel like goingto my credit card company and blocking payments to this poorly hosted service.

I have the exact same problem with Yahoo PERSONALS. I signed up in late May and now I don't see the chain of replies to my messages, nor my original messages to other members. I sent an e-mail to a new contact and I don't know if they got the message or if it even made it out of my account. Others who corresponded with me also lost messages - this really stinks. I'm calling my credit card and asking for a reversal of fees. and there is no helpdesk or customer support on top of it all - THIS REALLY STINKS!!!!

Be careful. A friend caught her husband fooling around thru yahoo personals...and several others. After researching it, it seems that statistics say that the majority of the people in the online dating/sex sites are actually married %26amp; looking for a variety of reasons. I do know of one lady who is a Dr. and she met another professional thru yahoo and they are happily dating now. Most of the guys listed though, are suspected to be married...be careful. to me, nothing can beat the feeling of being face to face...ahhh, the 'magic' of love!

I think dating websites are terrible way to meet people.
Ive tried it, but there were only a few guys in my area... Nobody has ever contacted me, but Im sure some people meet on it.

I tried it a little over 2 years ago...after a few average dates, which went no where, I met someone.

Voluptuous insinuates curvy to most men. You should probably use a few extra pounds if that's an option or if you can describe yourself, you could say you're cute in the face, thick in the waist..good luck.
You know-I would just say you are thick-b/c that can be considered a good thing. All those other words might just scare people off-like its sounds like you may be trying to cover up the actual biggness or something.
I would to with "a few extra pounds" because I think sometimes guys think of "voluptuous" or "big and beautiful" as a really big girl trying to make herself seem smaller than she is.
Partridge plump is cute. Nothing wrong with voluptuous though.. it just implies as sort of "well stacked" or "ripe for the picking" sexiness. Problem is that I think the word has lost its true meaning over the last few years.
I am not really sure what your size is, but I am a person who is thick in a few places, what I would do is describe my self as being someone who satisfied with my size and say

My size is I have added a few pounds and I am pleased with who I am and what I have maded my self to be. If you are Mr. Right then I might consider changing and dropping the few extras, but for now you have to accecpt me for who I am on the inside and enjoy my personality and being with me for me.Just because I have added a few pounds here and there appearance isn't everything it is what is inside that counts.

dont be shy with your appearance. its the god gave. nothing special with the small size. its normal if peoples staring at you because you are only amongst the small size. still peoples will do the same thing if you are the smallest amongs the big size. isn't it?
